This Saturday we went to the Witches night out event at Gardner Village. It was one of the best Halloween related events that I have ever been to. They had a petting zoo and horseback riding for the little ones.
And many photo ops throughout the shops. Like this group pic in front of a scene of witches brewing up something really creepy.
This was one of my favs. Three witches trying out for the baseball team. The catcher has an obscenely large bum, it was hilarious.
This one is near a candy shop where we just had to buy carmel apples. This was one of the kids favorite moments.
I also have pics of all the kids dancing near the stage that evening. I will have to post those later.

Birthday Card Swap
Yummy!!! Check out the cute criss cross cards I made for my SIU group. I made two sets of 12 each to swap with all the other gals. I can't wait to see what I get in return. In the past there have been some super cute cards. If it is OK with the other girls I will post my entire collection when I receive it.

Family Reunion 2008
Kenedy got to share a special 10th birthday party with a few other family members.
Bailie and Grandma Jones planned some fun activities for the kids and even the adults had fun playing.
This is Terrence getting all caught up in a spider web.
This was the amazing Lodge at Old Faithful. The woodwork inside was magnificent.
...and this all happened before we were run out of our tent by a Silver Tip Grizzly bear and her two cubs. Let's just say the kids will be talking about this camping trip for many years to come.
This is Pauline, Paul and Karrie at Kathy's house. Saturday night Kathy and her husband Barry invited us over for a fish fry. We had some excellent Walleye that night. The kids roasted smores around the campfire until the bugs threatened to eat them alive.

Water Sports....
Jeremy's parents were down for the week and we had a great time with them at the lake. Here is a snapshots Pop took of Marlee and I on the tube. Pop said, "You decide who is having fun?"
Marlees expression is priceless.
Have a wonderful day!!

A little bit of fun for your day...
What is your Pirate Name?
Even though there's no legal rank on a pirate ship, everyone recognizes you're the one in charge. You have the good fortune of having a good name, since Rackham (pronounced RACKem, not rack-ham) is one of the coolest sounding surnames for a pirate. Arr!

Summer Fun...
We have been gearing up for The Walker Family reunion in July. Jeremy has been to Cabelas, Sportsman's Warehouse and everywhere in between, to purchase a tent, sleeping bags, an outdoor grill and many other comforts of camping. This is something that we haven't had much opportunity to enjoy together, but we both love camping so it should be a great time. I am looking forward to trying out some Dutch Oven cooking. Maybe I can WOW the family with some yummy desserts. I am getting so excited for our trip. The Walker fam is so much fun and I'm sure we will find tons to do in Island Park, Idaho. My babe probably wants to hit the river with his fishing pole and I am definitely up for that too. We will most likely end up driving through West Yellowstone and down to Dubois Wyoming to see Jer's aunt and that should be a great reunion too. We've already received confirmation that our reservation has been made at her house. I think she is looking forward to seeing Jeremy. They seem to have a special relationship.
Tomorrow we are taking all the little rugrats to the Living Planet Aquarium. It should be really fun. Heather, Nan, Pop and the kids are down from Montana and wanted to do something fun. I will post some pics this weekend.

Well it's about time...
I know what you are probably thinking....."where has Kristen been?"
Well I got married..
to the love of my life. It was the most wonderful day. Everything was perfect and a good time was had by all. I want to publicly thank all my family for the hard work they put into helping us with our wedding preparations. My Mom spent hours planning and arranging everything from decorations to venue and everything in between. All my sisters baked my cupcakes and frosted them, my brothers and Dads trucked endless amounts of stuff from the parking garage to the 3rd floor of the library. My in-laws purchased and sliced pounds of pounds of meat and cheese. My Sister-in-law made me the most beautiful bouquet and my Father-in-law took some great pictures to capture the memories for a lifetime.
THEN,
We went on the most beautiful honeymoon to Riviera Maya, Mexico...
I will never forget the wonderful time that I had with my husband. It was an amazing experience and I'm glad that we had the opportunity to share it together. We did some things I never thought I would do. We fell in love with snorkeling after our first tour off the island of Cozumel. I found out what a real "Sir Cheapo" Jeremy is. Even the local merchants in Playa del Carmen were heckling him. We shared a shrimp taco from a roadside vendor and Jeremy tried to burn my taste buds with what he thought was guacamole, but turned out to be extremely hot sauce. But, man it was addicting and we of course had to have another.
And then the real married life began...
Look how hard he has got me workin' :-) No, seriously we were helping my sister and her boyfriend out. They needed a new concrete pad poured for their above ground swimming pool and a deck in their backyard. So the family banded together to knock it all out in a couple of weekends. It turned out beautifully. I can't wait to see their backyard with grass installed. It will be wonderful for their new little baby girl...
Welcome to the world Lillian Grace. She is such a beautiful little baby girl. I can't wait to watch her grow up into a lovely little lady. She has many, many people in her life to love and care for her along the way. Now be watching for cute little scrapbook pages and mini album with this little gals face all over them.
Ta Ta for Now!!!

Mini Album
A Mini Album for My Mom
I think I'll give it to her tomorrow....I hope she loves it and keeps it at her desk.
Another mini album, this one for a special someone, I won't say who because then it wouldn't be a surprise.
I used a little cricut here and there, I used the NA cartridge. I also cut out a few flowers for WIMG. There is a little bit of American craft Ribbon as well as some from my stash. The library card and pocket came with the album package. I loved that this album went together so easily. I had so many of the coordinating colored embellies on hand. But most of all it allowed me to use some stuff from my stash.
Weekend Work
I did some super cute mini books over the weekend and FORGOT to take pictures. I will snap a few tonight when I get home from work and post them for all to see.

I've Been Under Construction
If you haven't already noticed...I've been remodeling a bit. I got this cute background paper, "Room for Vintage", from Cutest Blog on the Block. Definitely go check her stuff out, she has some very cute designs for any type of blog that you may have. I also made my own title in PSE. I used a photo of our favorite fishing spot in Montana and inserted some text over the top.
I hope you like what I've done with the place.
XOXOXOX

Training Princesses to be QUEENS!!!
Grandma Jones
Grandma Jones pulled off another successful tea party for the little girls this past Saturday. They enjoyed snacking on little tea sandwiches, breads and desserts. Grandma had me read a book about a tea party to the girls. Kamryn was the most captivated of all the girls. She wanted me to read it again.

This has become a day that my girls look forward to all year. They were so excited to have a special party planned just for them. Thanks Mom...you're an awesome lady.

Tag I'm It....
I've been tagged...Here how it works:
1. Link to the person that tagged you and leave a comment on their blog, so that their readers can visit yours.
Lynn tagged me!
2. Post the rules on your blog.
3. Share 7 Random facts about yourself on your blog.
4. Tag 7 random people at the bottom of your post, linking to their blog. Let each person know by leaving a comment on their blog.
So, here are 7 random facts about me:
1) I'm trying to become a distance runner, but my knee is not cooperating.
2) I would rather watch my favorite TV series on DVD so I don't have to watch the commercials. A few of my favs are CSI, The Unit & LOST. This also works well with my DVR from Dish. I usually watch them while scrapping too.
3) I love the laptop that my Jer bought me for my birthday and although I have a computer at work, I pack it back and forth each day just to have my more current versions of Excel and Word.
4) I am an avid baker. I am happiest when I am in the kitchen. Currently, we have been testing different cupcake recipes for our wedding. It's a little counter productive to the running, but it's for a good cause.
5) I enjoy riding ATV's with my family. We like to pack up and take off for the day. Our last trip was to Duckfork lake. It was a 45 minute ride to the lake, we fished for a while, had a picnic lunch and rode home. PERFECT DAY!!!
6) I'm a crafter in many ways. I enjoy making anything with my hands. I have been known to tole paint, scrapbook, papercraft, sew, make beaded jewelry and I've even tried my hand at woodworking. Last year my fiance helped me build a beautiful pot rack that hangs above my bar. LOVE IT, LOVE IT
7) I cannot wait to go on my honeymoon. We are going to Cancun, Mexico for a whole week. It will be such a blast to spend a week alone with my honey. Plus, I have never been out of our country so that will be a new experience too.

It's all beginning to come together
We had quite the productive weekend with wedding planning. We were able to find Jeremy's attire for the wedding as well as a Titanium wedding band. My Mom took some great pictures of us on Friday afternoon and afterwards we treated her to lunch at the Trolley in Springville, YUMMY!! Here are a few of my favorite shots...
I can't wait to use Photoshop Elements to do some different techniques with these. I will definitely be doing some B & W's, more to come later. Enjoy your day!!!!

Ta Dah...
As promised here are some pics of my work this weekend and a few pics from recent work. I signed up for a Christmas card swap with some girls from an online scrapping group. I need to do another set of 10-12 cards, but this is my first set.
I used the Cricut Christmas Cheer cartridge for the stocking, Jasmine for the photo corners, Making Memories rubons, American Crafts ribbon, all the patterned paper is Die Cuts with A View and cardstock is from Provo Craft. As a final touch I stitched with my sewing machine around the entire card with both a zig zag and a straight stitch.
This next pages is a layout I did about making homemade jam with my family. If you don't have a Bob Marley song in your head after reading this title, SHAME ON YOU. I thought is was very clever if I do say so myself.
I used the Alphalicious cartridge for the "We're" and Jasmine for "Jammin'" and the photo corners, I don't remember the brand of PP. I also did a little stitching on this page, but it is quite hard to see in this picture.

Oh what FUN....
This past weekend we pooled our money with some friends and rented an eight bedroom cabin above Heber city in Timberlakes. We had a wonderful time. There was plenty of good food, conversation, games and new friendships being made. Here are a couple of pics from our excursion.

WYATT
I did this layout for my nephew Wyatt. We were at the cabin for New Year's Eve. Uncle Jeremy and Wyatt get along fabulously. They are great pals, especially when it is time for a nap.
I used Tags, Bags, Boxes & More for the tags on this LO. All of the patterned paper is Die Cuts with a View. The ribbon is American Crafts. I made my own Chipboard letters by adhering PP to chipboard and using my cuttlebug to cut out the Sizzix die alphabet.
